OUR RESEARCH FOCUS

SMDL offers education in polymeric materials science, while the projects are from various disciplines including medical technology, chemical science, and electronic devices. Our group thrives through collaborations with national laboratories, hospitals, international companies, local industry, and medical device companies. SMDL pursues practical solutions to real-world problems by deep understanding of fundamental science.  Through collaboration, SMDL offers a platform to nurture future leaders of interdisciplinary teams.
